Introduction

WONST Co., Ltd. regards your private information as very important and observes regulations on personal information protection under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection. Our privacy policy explains how and for which purposes we use personal information you offer and which measures we take to protect the information.
- 2. WONST publishes the privacy policy on the first page of its website so that you can read it in an easy and convenient way.
- 3. In an attempt to improve the privacy policy continuously, WONST proceeds with procedures necessary for amendment of the privacy policy. Setting the version number for revised privacy policies, we make you recognize the revised contents without difficulty.
Consent to collection of personal information
WONST provides you with the procedure by which you can click the button ¡¸Agree¡¹ or ¡¸Disagree¡¹ with regard to its privacy policy or conditions of use and it regards your clicking the button ¡¸Agree¡¹ as your consent to the collection of personal information.

For the purpose of applications for membership, consultant and services, WONST collects the following information.
Information collected: name of hospital, name, ID, passwords, resident registration numbers, e-mail address, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, name of a work place or a school, date of birth, job, marital status, motive for joining

Purposes of our collection and use of your information

1. For the following purposes, WONST collects your personal information.
- - Resident registration numbers, etc.: To make a contract to provide services (identification and user¡¯s intention confirmation, etc.)
- - Address, telephone numbers, etc.: To carry out services
- - E-mail address, etc.: To inform about other new services, seminars and events, etc.
- 2. Sensitive information with concern for violation of a user¡¯s human rights (race, ethnic group, ideology, creed, native place, domicile of origin, political tendency, crime record, physical condition and sex life, etc.) is not collected.
Personal information collected through cookies
WONST uses cookies to store and track your information. A cookie is small information a website transmit to your computer browser (Netscape and internet explorer, etc.). When you visit the website, a computer of WONST can read the cookie in your browser, track your additional information in your computer, and provide services without additional entry of your name, etc. A cookie can identify your computer but not you individually. In addition, you have the right of choice with regard to cookies. Selecting options of a web browser, you can accept all cookies; make notification is sent when a cookie is installed; or reject all cookies.
Using information for other purposes and sharing it with the third party
- 1. WONST uses your information within the limit of <purposes of our collection and use of your information> and never uses it beyond the limit nor provides it for others, other companies and other institutions.
- 2. However, for the purpose of providing better services, we can provide or share your information with our affiliated companies. Prior to providing or sharing your information with our affiliated companies, through an e-mail and a letter, we inform you of what the affiliated company is; what kind of personal information is provided or shared; why the information should be provided or shared; and until when and how the information is protected and managed. We also ask for your consent and never provide nor share your information with our affiliated companies without your consent.
Reading and correcting personal information
- 1. You can read or correct your information registered whenever you need. If you want to read or correct your information, click the <Correction of personal information> to read or correct it directly. Or you can send an e-mail to a person in charge of personal information management and the person can take proper measures.
- 2. If you request to correct an error in your information, we do not use the information until the correction is completed.
Withdrawal of consent to collection, use and provision of personal information
- 1. Whenever you want, you can withdraw the consent to collection, use and provision of your information you gave through membership registration. The withdrawal can be proceeded with by sending an e-mail to a person in charge of personal information management.
- 2. WONST will take necessary measures to proceed with the withdrawal of the consent (or membership) to collection of personal information through the same way and procedures as that for collection of the information.
Period of possession and use of personal information
- 1. Basically, personal information is destroyed without delay after the purposes of collection and use of the information are accomplished. However, if it needs to be stored according to relevant regulations, WONST keeps the information for a certain period of time designated by a relevant law as follows.
Stored items: payment record
Basis of storage: records with regard to contract or subscription withdrawal
Period of storage: 3 years
Records with regard to contract or subscription withdrawal: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records with regard to payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records with regard to consumers¡¯ complaint or dispute handling: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- In the case of information with regard to application for membership, it is destroyed when the membership is withdrawn or the user is expelled from the membership.
(Except for when it needs to be stored according to regulations under the above act.) - 2. In spite of the above period of storage, if the information should be stored continuously, we will ask for your consent in advance.
Procedure and method of destruction of personal information
Basically, WONST destroys personal information without delay after purposes of collection and use of the information are accomplished. Destruction procedure and method are as follows.
¡Ü Destruction procedure
The information you input when you apply for membership is transmitted to separate DB (or separate cabinet for paper documents) after purposes are accomplished. Stored for a certain period of time according to internal policies and other relevant regulations (refer to the above period of possession and use of personal information), the information is destroyed.
The information transmitted to the DB is not used for purposes other than that mentioned above except for when it is needed according to relevant laws.
¡Ü Destruction method
- Personal information in electronic form is destroyed using a technological way so that the record cannot be replayed.
Technological measures to protect personal information
WONST takes the following technological measures to prevent your personal information from being lost, robbed, leaked, tampered or damaged.
- 1. Using a vaccine program, WONST prevents damage by computer viruses. The vaccine program is updated on a regular basis and if a certain virus breaks out abruptly, WONST provides a vaccine for the virus as soon as it becomes available so as to prevent infringement of your personal information.
- 2. Using an encryption algorithm, WONST adopts a security device to transmit personal information on a network in a secure way.
- 3. Aiming at preventing your personal information from being leaked through hacking, WONST uses a device which blocks intrusion and it installed an intrusion detection system on the server to observe intrusion for 24 hours.
Deputing others to deal with personal information
For the purpose of improving services, WONST can depute other service providers to deal with your personal information.
- 1. In the case of deputing others to deal with your personal information, we will inform you of it in advance.
- 2. In the case of deputing others to deal with your personal information, we will make a contract with the service provider so that the provider shall observe the instructions on personal information protection; maintain confidentiality with regard to the personal information; and not provide the personal information for the third party. We will also stipulate liability for an accident specifically and store the contract in document or electronic file.
Collection of opinion and management of complaint
With regard to personal information protection, WONST provides a channel through which you can submit opinion and complaints. If you have something to complain about, please contact the person in charge of personal information management then the person takes proper measures and informs you of the result.

Personal information protection for children
A legal representative of children under the age of 14 can make a request for reading or correcting the children¡¯s personal information and withdrawing the consent and WONST will take necessary measures in response to the request without delay.
